How to pass the Nevada permit test
Read the Nevada Driver Handbook from start to finish. The test has 25 questions and you need 20 correct to pass. That is 80%. The test stops as soon as you hit 20 right or 6 wrong. Nevada offers an online test through KnowToDrive Nevada, or you can take it in a DMV office. Take practice tests until you score above 90% several times.
Retake policy
If you fail the knowledge test, you may retake it after 24 hours. A $10 retest fee applies to each retake. Instruction permit test results are valid for one year.
